The Same-Day Heart Failure Cardiology Program offers immediate access to advanced heart failure physicians who are prepared to evaluate your symptoms and concerns with utmost attention.
The Same-Day Heart Failure Cardiology Program at WMCHealth is available to the community in Valhalla weekdays from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Holidays are excluded.)
- Appointments requested between 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. will be scheduled for the same day.
- Appointments requested after 2 p.m. will occur within 24 hours.

Have you ever been told you have heart failure?
Have you ever been told you may need a heart pump or a heart transplant?
You may be a candidate for evaluation if you are experiencing:
- Shortness of breath
- Palpitations

Note: The Same-Day Cardiology Program is only for new patients. Established cardiology patients can call their provider’s office.

Every patient is granted a consultation with a cardiologist who will perform a thorough, non-invasive evaluation. They will determine whether diagnostic tests are needed or if you’re in need of urgent attention at the nearest emergency department.
Same-day heart failure cardiology services include, but are not limited to, the following diagnostic tests to help pinpoint the underlying cause of your symptoms:
- Electrocardiogram (ECG)
- Blood pressure measurement
- Blood draw for lab analysis
- Echocardiogram
