Join us for the inaugural symposium of the WMCHealth’s Center for Women’s Health Equity, in partnership with New York Medical College, a gathering designed to bring community voices and clinical expertise together in meaningful dialogue.
Thursday, October 8, 2026
9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Taylor Conference Center
Westchester Medical Center
100 Woods Road, Valhalla, NY 10595
This one-day symposium will feature a blend of plenary talks from national, regional, and local leaders; moderated panels highlighting lived experiences and frontline perspectives; and structured opportunities for participant interaction and dialogue.
Together, we will examine where gaps persist, share the work and vision of the Center, elevate community voices, and explore how institutions can move beyond awareness toward measurable accountability and sustainable change. Our aim is to improve health literacy and outcomes for historically marginalized communities while equipping attendees with practical insights, new partnerships, and a clearer roadmap for action.
Intended Audience: Physicians & Advanced Practice Providers; Community Health Workers, Nurses & Midwives, Social Workers, Case Managers, Public Health Professionals, Medical Trainees, Community-Based Organizations, Faith Leaders, Health System Administrators, Policy & Advocacy Representatives
