Pediatric ENT Treatment Capabilities and Procedures
Depending on your child’s needs, treatment may range from simple, in-office procedures to more advanced surgical care. Each approach is designed to address your child’s specific condition, support healthy growth, and improve overall quality of life:
  • Tympanostomy tubes: relieve ear fluid, hearing loss, ear infections, or eustachian tube dysfunction
  • Tracheostomy tube placement: creates a safe airway for children with breathing difficulties or respiratory distress
  • Adenotonsillectomy: removes enlarged tonsils and adenoids to treat congestion, snoring, sleep apnea, or chronic mouth breathing
  • Removal of congenital neck masses: treats branchial cleft cysts, thyroglossal duct cysts, and other congenital growths, depending on the specific problem
  • Pediatric sinus surgery: uses minimally invasive techniques, which may include inferior turbinate reduction, to open nasal passages or correct a deviated septum
  • Eardrum repair (tympanoplasty or myringoplasty): restores hearing and repairs eardrum damage using techniques such as paper patch repair, fat myringoplasty, or tissue grafts made from cartilage or fascia
  • Endoscopic airway procedures: address conditions such as laryngomalacia, laryngeal clefts, or congenital nasal obstruction (including choanal atresia or pyriform aperture stenosis); some children may need open airway reconstruction for subglottic stenosis or tracheal narrowing
