MidHudson Regional Hospital Aces Safety Test

Posted By: Advancing Care

When it comes time to evaluate hospitals, safety is of paramount importance. Feel assured: MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center has been honored with an “A” grade in the Fall 2014 Hospital Safety Score. This is the hospital’s second consecutive “A” rating, having also earned the honor in the Spring 2014 Safety Score.

The Leapfrog Group, an independent monitoring agency, uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data, including information about hospital errors, injuries and infections, to tabulate its letter grades. “We take great pride in earning another  ‘A’ grade for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group,” says Paul Hochenberg, Executive Director of MidHudson Regional Hospital. “This recognition is evidence of the ongoing commitment of our physicians, nurses, techs and support staff to provide the highest quality care to our patients.”
