Good Samaritan Hospital’s Peripheral Bypass Program Receives Top Honors

Posted By: Advancing Care

Good Samaritan Hospital, a member of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), has achieved its second consecutive year of top ratings in Peripheral Vascular Bypass procedures.

Awarded by Healthgrades, a leading online resource for physicians and hospitals, the honor asserts that Good Samaritan Hospital’s clinical outcomes for vascular bypass procedures (involving key blood vessels between the heart and lungs) remain significantly better than national averages.

“We are proud to receive this recognition from Healthgrades,” said Michael Schwartz, MD, Chief of Vascular Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital. “This award validates Good Samaritan Hospital’s commitment to quality patient care and recognizes the valuable contributions of our multidisciplinary team members.”
