WMCHealth Welcomes New Year’s Day Babies

Ian Ramirez Maldonado, son of Clara and Miguel Maldonado of White Plains, was born at Westchester Medical Center at 8:58 a.m. on New Year's Day.

Weighing 7 lbs., 1 oz. and measuring 20 inches long, Ian is a happy and healthy baby!

WMCHealth is home to four birthing centers at its hospitals across the Hudson Valley and welcomed a total of 18 babies on New Year's Day. Elsewhere in the WMCHealth Network:

• Leah Etziony was born at Good Samaritan Hospital to Yael and Natn Etziony of Spring Valley. She weighed 8 lbs. 13 oz. and is the fifth child of the couple. She was born at 1:12 p.m.
• Savannah Grace was born at St. Anthony Community Hospital to Katie Ford and Dan Ferris of Montgomery, NY. She was born at 9:24 a.m., weighed 6-lbs. 19 oz. and measured 20 ½ inches long.
• Connor Thomas Nugent was born at HealthAlliance Hospital to Renay Nugent of Bloomington at 8:20 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs, 4.8 oz. and was 20 inches long.
