Tricia Hiller and Boriana Parvez, MD, Honored As Healthcare Heroes by Westchester Magazine

Hiller was lauded for her work with children during trying times, while Dr. Parvez earned recognition for establishing a preemie donor milk program at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.

Tricia Hiller and Boriana Parvez, MD, were recently recognized as 2018 Healthcare Heroes by Westchester Magazine.

 

Hiller, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital's Director of Child Life and Creative Arts Therapy, was presented by Gary Tatz, MD, an intensivist in the hospital's pediatric intensive care unit. In his presentation, Tatz applauded Hiller for her work with children and families during challenging times in the hospital.

 

Ed LaGamma, MD, Chief of Newborn Medicine at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, presented Regional NICU colleague Parvez, who was recognized for her work to establish a preemie donor milk program at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital as well as an in-hospital donor milk bank dedicated to premature infants, the only one of its kind in New York State.
